Pratt Institute is committed to ensuring the privacy, confidentiality, and security of those who visit and make donations on our website. This statement describes our information collection practices and explains how we use and protect your personal information. This statement applies only to information collected through or through email outreach from Pratt’s Institutional Advancement division.

How We Use Your Information

To make an online gift, we require you to provide your full name, address, and email address. You may also choose to provide additional information. We use the personally identifiable information you provide for internal purposes, such as confirming your transaction, subscription, or registration and providing you with other information that we believe would be interesting to you. You may opt out of receiving email alerts by following the link to update your email preferences included with every email alert. You can also update other contact preferences by contacting us at the below address, email address, or telephone number.

Pratt Institute will not sell or transfer your information to any third parties except to the extent necessary to authorize third parties to process the transaction you are authorizing and on select occasions to authorized vendors for the purpose of offering services to Pratt’s constituents. In all such cases we require the third parties to agree not to sell or transfer the information. In addition, we may disclose personal information when we have a good-faith belief that disclosure is required by law. Pratt Institute may use the information you provide to update your contact information and to maintain contact with you.

Credit Card Information

To ensure that credit card information is secure and electronic payments are processed safely and efficiently, all transactions are processed securely by Blackbaud Merchant and Payment Services. Blackbaud is PCI DSS and PA-DSS compliant. Once your transaction is processed, your credit card information is not maintained in our records.

Refund Policy

By making a charitable gift to Pratt Institute, a 501(c)(3) organization, the donor understands that charitable donations are not refundable.
